Our Work

For more than 20 years, our team of experienced tradesmen and preservationists have been dedicated to serving the Fredericksburg region. From small renovation projects to large scale residential and commercial buildings, our team brings a unique understanding to the virtues of the historic building tradition while ensuring all the modern conveniences necessary for today's living and work environments.

Restoration of the Charles Dick House

Princess Anne Street in Downtown Fredericksburg

This historic building is one of the oldest in Downtown Fredericksburg at 268 years old. It is being freshly renovated into a home. A major goal of this project is to retain as much of the original structure as possible and keep the historical building standing for another 200 years.

Renovation & Addition on Cornell Street

Cornell Street in Downtown Fredericksburg

This bungalow was completely renovated and a contemporary addition expanded the living space. The natural wood and stone features throughout balance the sleek, contemporary architectural design features.

Historic Home Addition and Renovations

713 Lee Street, Fredericksburg, VA

The original portion of this historic home dates back to the 1890s. The renovation retained the formality of the existing rooms with enhanced trim, drywall and cherry-finished hardwood flooring. An addition with a family room and new kitchen was added to create an open, modern floor plan. Adding a back patio, redesigning the entire front porch, a new roof, new siding and new windows improved the curb appeal while providing energy efficient living.

Historic Home Renovation & Addition

805 Mercer Street, Fredericksburg, Virginia

By tearing down the old addition we were able to renovate this existing home by adding a new kitchen and new master suite. Updates and upgrades improved the home's energy efficiency and comfort. A new garage provides additional storage and protected parking.

Historic Restoration

1210 Princess Anne Street, Fredericksburg, VA

After the unprecedented earthquake of 2011 many historic properties suffered severe damage. We restored many of the fences, chimneys, an other historic elements on residential and commercial properties in the Historic District in the City of Fredericksburg.

Historic Commercial Renovation

1008 Prince Edward Street, Fredericksburg, VA

We transformed this historic home into upscale office space with one business on each of the first and second floors. The first floor has a fully renovated and updated kitchen. The third floor hosts a conference room. Utility upgrades and updates improved energy efficiency and met technical needs while preserving the building's historic charm. While the building is currently being used as a commercial structure, at the request of the owner, the renovations were made to allow for commercial or residential use in the future.
